Founder
Pastor James is a firm believer in Jesus Christ, being his Lord and Savior. He believes in the Bible and that Jesus is the One true living God. He have dedicated his entire being to God's will and way. He received God's gift of the Holy Spirit, on April 16th, 1967. As a child, he was taught by his father to always reverence the presence of God. His father, and mentor, Bishop Claude Lee Denson Sr., was called home to be with the Lord in 1981. He set an example for Pastor James that he is proud to follow. Pastor James was taught the importance of studying God's word daily. (Ephesians 6:17) That teaching inspired in him, a passion and a hunger to increase his learning and to develop a deeper walk and closer relationship with God.
Interest
Pastor James, has always had a propensity for scripture memorization. As his life progressed those memories turned to a love of God’s unchanging and endless, Awesomeness. He became an ordained Elder in 2006, serving several offices, from minister to associate pastor. He is a District Elder with the International Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith Incorporated (P.C.A.F.I).

Pastor James, has been privileged in his educational endeavors with a business degree, and he is fortunate to have his own Tax Business. His collegiate initiatives include Cincinnati State, as well as the University of Cincinnati, Miami University, and lastly, Koinonia Institute where he is currently working towards my doctorate in Biblical Studies.
He is the son of a Pastor, the late Bishop Claude Lee Denson, and his Mother Virginia Denson. He is the third oldest of thirteen children. He was raised to love God and God's word. He was taught to search the scriptures, as the Bereans. (Acts 17:11)
At the tender age of thirteen, he committed his life to Jesus Christ. With that commitment, he found a passion for living a life of Holiness and dedicated his witness to being an example of good works.
Later in life, he met and married the love of my life and high school sweetheart, Gwendolyn Chapman. In this union of nearly fifty years together, God blessed them abundantly with three beautiful daughters, three sons-in-law, and eight grandchildren.
Today, as the Pastor of Issachar Bible Institute Church (IBIC), he is committed to further being that shining example to all God would place in his care.
